Edmonton Takes Series Lead

Game 5 Set for Wednesday at Rogers Arena

The Edmonton Oilers took a 3-1 lead in their Western Conference Second Round series against the Vancouver Canucks with a thrilling 4-3 overtime win in Game 4 on Tuesday night at Rogers Arena.

Connor McDavid scored the game-winning goal just 1:09 into overtime, giving the Oilers their third straight win in the series. Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard also scored for Edmonton, while Jack Campbell made 34 saves in net.

Elias Pettersson, Andrei Kuzmenko, and Bo Horvat scored for the Canucks, who are now facing elimination. Thatcher Demko made 33 saves in net.

The series will now shift back to Edmonton for Game 5 on Wednesday night. The Oilers will be looking to close out the series at home, while the Canucks will be fighting to stay alive.
