Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each poured in 25 points to propel the Boston Celtics to a 120-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup.
Derrick White also contributed with 23 points for the Celtics, who made an impressive 19 three-pointers in the contest. The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland's 33 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Boston's balanced scoring attack.
The Celtics led by only six points at the half, but they put the game away in the third quarter with a dominant 35-point outburst. The Cavaliers never recovered, and Boston cruised to a comfortable victory.
