Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021: Armenia's Maléna Wins
Armenia's Maléna has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with her song "Qami Qami."
The 14-year-old singer beat out 18 other countries in the competition, which was held in Paris on December 19. Poland's Sara James came in second place with her song "Somebody," and Ukraine's Olena Usenko came in third place with her song "Vazil."
This is the second time that Armenia has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The country's first win came in 2010, when Vladimir Arzumanyan won with his song "Mama."
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition for young singers aged 9 to 14. The first contest was held in 2003, and it has been held every year since then, except for 2020, when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
